Holy Week
All of these special services are open to the community and do not have a
charge. Come and experience God's marvelous love as we reflect on and
celebrate the special events leading up to and including the resurrection!
Come
and See - An
Easter Celebration
Sunday, March 28, 10:55 a.m. - This presentation by the Chancel Choir
and Drama Team tells the story of the events of Passion Week through the
eyes of a blind beggar. The beggar encounters several people who are his
"eyes" for the triumphal entry, the crucifixion, and the resurrection. The
music includes traditional hymns and original and contemporary songs. The
musical is written by Dennis & Nan Allen. Come see the one who wishes to be
your friend, your redeemer, and your everlasting hope!
Maundy Thursday Communion Service
Thursday, April 1, 7:00 p.m. - This service in the Sanctuary features
the presentation of "The Gift" by Rick & Terri Hazen.
Experience the power of the crucifixion and the depth of God's love from a
rather different perspective. Terri works for the Billy Graham Library and
also is a conference speaker and leader of women's ministries. Rick is a
corporate pilot and volunteer at the Library. The Hazens live in Fort Mill,
SC, with their son.
Early Easter
Celebration
Sunday, April 4, 8:30 a.m. - We herald the arrival of the most
triumphant day in the Christian year with a service led by our children and
youth! A light breakfast will be served in the Fellowship Hall
immediately afterwards.
Easter
Celebration
Sunday, April 4, 10:55 a.m. - We continue our celebration of the
Resurrection with wonderful music and an inspiring message from God's Word
by Bill Jolley.
